Well we all know Google’s trying out its new layout. And if you have got to try it very well, but there is a big change you haven’t. This new layout moves the links of Image Search, Group Serach, etc for the same search query to a sidebar and also show the amount of search results available in that category by a small image. So if you want to try it, just follow these 5 simple steps:
- Go to Google.
- Search for anything you want.
- Paste the following code in the address bar.
This will modify the Google Cookie to show the new layout. - If the page changed & shows the above code, then just click the back button.
- Just hit refresh.
- Well that’s it; you should already have the new layout in action. ENJOY!!!
What if you don’t like this layout and want to revert back to the old one. Then the answer is simple, just delete your cookies.

Didn’t work for me (probably because my PC’s old), but if it did for you, then good. The template looks like quite a bit of an improvement…
Well worked perfectly for me again. Make sure you go to http://www.google.com and not other local servers like google.co.in.
Also the most important thing to remember is that javascripts must be enabled
Does this require IE or Firefox or what?
No Not at all, all you need to take care is “JavaScripts Enabled”
it didnot work for me.
Well I have noticed it too 😛
Try this again:
javascript:document.cookie="PREF=ID=fb7740f107311e46:TM=1142683332:LM=1142683332:S=fNSw6ljXTzvL3dWu;path=/;domain=.google.com"
Hope it works this time around 😀
This aint working.. too bad.
